VedaAround is a scripture reading app. The library and reading tools work offline. Bookmarks, reading position, practice counts, language and appearance settings are stored on your device.

Optional account and notifications

If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, Firebase Authentication processes account identifiers and information returned by your provider, such as an email address or display name. Guest sign-in may create an anonymous Firebase account. You can delete an account from the app settings. Reading history and bookmarks are not uploaded as cloud sync.

If you opt in to notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging uses a device token to deliver VedaAround update notifications. You can turn notifications off in the app or device settings; the app then disables messaging and deletes its token.

Diagnostics

Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Performance may process app interaction events, crash diagnostics, performance traces, and technical device or app information. The app does not include scripture text, search queries, names, email addresses, or notification tokens in its custom analytics event parameters. You can disable analytics, crash and performance collection in Settings.

Advertising

The app includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Development builds use Google test ads; the released iOS app requests production banner ads on the Today tab. When ads are requested or displayed, Google may process a device identifier, IP address (which can indicate approximate location), ad views and interactions, and diagnostic or performance data. Depending on the SDK configuration and applicable settings, some information may be linked to your device or used for advertising and analytics, including third-party advertising. Sharing

When you choose to share a verse or image, the content is passed to the sharing destinations you select. VedaAround does not operate those destinations.

Service providers and retention

Firebase services are provided by Google and process information under Google's privacy terms. Account, notification and diagnostics data are retained by those providers according to their service settings and policies. Local reading data remains on your device until you remove it or uninstall the app.

선택적 계정과 알림

Google 또는 Apple 로그인을 선택하면 Firebase Authentication이 계정 식별자와 제공자가 전달한 이메일 주소나 표시 이름 등을 처리합니다. 게스트 로그인은 Firebase 익명 계정을 만들 수 있습니다. 설정에서 계정을 삭제할 수 있습니다. 읽기 기록과 책갈피는 클라우드 동기화로 업로드되지 않습니다.

알림을 켜면 Firebase Cloud Messaging이 기기 토큰을 사용해 VedaAround 업데이트 알림을 전달합니다. 앱 또는 기기 설정에서 알림을 끄면 메시징을 중지하고 토큰을 삭제합니다.

진단 정보

Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance가 앱 사용 이벤트, 오류 진단, 성능 추적 및 기기·앱 기술 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. 앱은 직접 기록하는 분석 이벤트에 경전 본문, 검색어, 이름, 이메일 주소 또는 알림 토큰을 넣지 않습니다. 설정에서 분석, 오류 및 성능 정보 수집을 끌 수 있습니다.

앱에는 Google Mobile Ads SDK가 포함되어 있습니다. 개발 빌드에서는 Google 테스트 광고를 사용하며, 출시된 iOS 앱은 오늘 탭에서 실제 배너 광고를 요청합니다. 광고를 요청하거나 표시할 때 Google은 기기 식별자, IP 주소(대략적인 위치를 나타낼 수 있음), 광고 조회 및 상호작용 정보, 진단·성능 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. SDK 설정과 적용되는 선택 사항에 따라 일부 정보가 기기와 연결되거나 광고 및 분석, 제3자 광고에 사용될 수 있습니다. Google이 이 서비스를 제공하며 Google의 개인정보 관련 약관에 따라 데이터를 처리합니다. 자세한 내용은 Google Mobile Ads 데이터 공개 안내를 참고하세요.

구절이나 이미지를 공유하기로 선택하면 선택한 공유 대상에 내용이 전달됩니다. VedaAround는 해당 공유 서비스를 운영하지 않습니다.

서비스 제공자와 보관

Firebase 서비스는 Google이 제공하며 Google의 개인정보 관련 약관에 따라 정보를 처리합니다. 계정, 알림 및 진단 정보는 각 서비스 설정과 정책에 따라 보관됩니다. 기기에 저장된 읽기 정보는 사용자가 삭제하거나 앱을 제거할 때까지 기기에 남습니다.
